Catering & Ice Cream Truck

Ice cream truck or trailer: we come to your event and scoop for your guests. Serve It: we pre-scoop labeled cups and you serve them. Scoop It: you get buckets of ice cream and do the scooping. We can typically serve 100–150 guests an hour. As you approach 200 servings, book two hours. Three hours works well for corporate events where people come at different times.

Send us an inquiry and we’ll share our packages. When you’re ready, we’ll send a contract, and a 50% deposit locks in your date. About a month before your event you’ll choose flavors and add-ons, and the remaining balance is due one week before your event.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days before your event. Within 30 days, we’ll work with you to reschedule and apply your deposit to a new date, but we can’t give refunds.

Weddings, graduation parties and other private events choose from our list of available flavors. Corporate events and festivals get our fan favorites: Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Salted Oreo, Monster Cookie and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The trailer brings 4 flavors, and every truck and trailer event includes one dairy-free, gluten-free flavor (+$1 per scoop). Serve It and Scoop It orders choose up to 4 flavors.

We ring up every scoop and send a final invoice after your event. If you don’t reach the scoop minimum, the difference is added to that invoice. If serving runs past your booked time, it’s $50 per 15 minutes, as long as our schedule allows.

A 15% gratuity is added to the ice cream total only, not the rental fee.

We arrive 15–20 minutes before your event and can be serving in under 10 minutes. The truck runs on its own quiet generator, so it doesn’t need power. The trailer does need access to electricity, and we bring our own extension cord.

We’ll be there rain or shine. If the weather becomes dangerous for our staff or your guests, we’ll make the call.

Yes! We’re fully insured and permitted as a Mobile Food Unit through the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals.

The truck has built-in speakers, so send us your playlist! We’re happy to decorate the trailer with your event décor, and we can add a custom balloon arch from JoyPop for $275 + tax. It’s yours to keep!

The ice cream truck and trailer travel within 15 miles of our Waukee shop. Delivery for Serve It and Scoop It orders is $25 within 10 miles of Waukee.

If our ice cream is the only dessert, order one scoop per guest plus 10%. If there are other desserts, one scoop per guest is plenty. Serve It scoops are 5–6 oz, in lidded cups labeled by flavor, with a spoon for each. A Scoop It bucket makes about 40 scoops and comes with 40 cups or cones.

Without a cooler, Serve It scoops come in a freezer bag that must be returned within 24 hours. Our white cooler holds about 100 scoops and has wheels, and our yellow cooler holds about 80. The ice cream crock keeps a bucket at scooping temperature for about 4 hours and comes with a scoop. All rentals are returned to our Waukee shop within 24 hours.
